40 Over 40 Portrait Experience Campaign
I’m thrilled to introduce you to Melonie, one of the incredible women who took part in my special “40 over 40” portrait experience campaign! This campaign is all about celebrating women aged 40 and beyond, witnessing their beauty and essence, bringing out their incredible feminine energy and culminating in a photo exhibition and celebration.
When Melonie first reached out, she shared her excitement about the campaign’s mission to elevate women in their prime (yes, my fellow 40+ year old ladies!!!) and capture their beauty and voices. Little did I know, I was about to meet a remarkable woman with a newfound talent for writing, born from a challenging life experience. Melonie’s poetry flows effortlessly, a proof to her deep connection with her soul and unleashed creativity. She even aimed to create a perfect image for the cover of her upcoming poetry book during our session!
Our journey began with a bespoke wardrobe and styling consultation a couple of weeks before the shoot, where we designed a session that would truly reflect Melonie’s vibrant essence (as you can see she absolutely loves reds and golds!). On the day of the session, a bit of pampering with my talented hair and makeup artist. @Guzmakeupandhair set the tone for an unforgettable experience.
During the 2.5-hour fully guided portrait session, I combined my photography skills with my intuitive gifts to capture Melonie’s true essence. The session was a delightful blend of fun, joy, and deep connection, bringing out her radiant beauty, creativity, and feminine energy in every photo.
