Here are some most common questions asked about portrait photography and boudoir photoshoots in my boutique Worcester studio.
If you still have more questions or are unsure on any aspects of portrait and boudoir photography, please do not hesitate to contact me.
You only need digital files
It is important to know that digital files are not archives and they can get corrupt. We do everything on our phones, tablets or computers these days and a lot of important files or all family photos are stored on these devices. Remember that these, as any other electronics, will not last forever and you need to ensure that your beautiful pictures are safe for many years and even decades to come.
You need to keep your files in a number of medias if you wish to ensure they are safe (i.e. USB flash drive, external backup drive, your computer and cloud storage like Dropbox). If most of your photo library is stored on your social media profile, just image what would happen if that portal shut down for some reason one day, where would you be with your visual legacy.
To ensure your images last a lifetime, I encourage you to invest in high quality tangible print products such as fine art prints, wall art, albums or folio boxes. These not only look beautiful and really allow you full appreciation of your art, but are designed to stand many years. You're visual legacy is much safer if you invest into good print products as well as digital files.
Every single print or wall portrait you buy from me comes with a matching digital file in the resolution purchased. This will give you an archival grade physical prints to last for many generations and a digital version to share on your devices. The best of both worlds.

Yes, I do airbrush the images. My professional photography started from beauty and fashion hence I have been trained in various retouching techniques used in the fashion photography around the world.
I use a number of tools in Photoshop plus 3rd party plugins to remove or minimise any imperfections, enhance the hair and makeup, reduce the fine lines and help with any body imperfections.

Your booking should be made at least 3 weeks in advance to allow a thorough preparation to your shoot however I'm usually booked fully 5 - 6 weeks in advance.
